Do you have special memories from club? So do we! Here are some of ours see if you can recall them too. If you have a special memory you'd like to share email us and maybe we'll put it online.
Todd Eitenmiller
Well, My Name is Todd Eitenmiller and I was a member of the
club from 1990 through 1993. I had too much fun on Tuesday
nights when Jim West and his Pekin crew came down to Manito.
I can remember a time when we were doing a game with a device
that put a pie of shaving cream in the face if you were the
unlucky soul to turn the random switch that would pie you. I
really don't remember what the game was about, but I would
love to experience it again. Thanks Jim for the good
memories. I hope to see you soon.
Bill Kocher
One of my favorite memories, was going to the Fox Valley mall
to play "Spy." All of us were armed with these Wal-Mart
plastic pellet guns. We really shot up the place, pellets
were just everywhere. The last thing I remember was being
yanked into the Mall Security office. "Have you ever been
interrogated by a minimum wage earning rent-a-cop who looks
like your uncle Ernie??" It was very hard not to laugh. Anyway,
the end result was getting kicked out of the mall and having to
wait till it was time to go home. However, the best things that
I have remembered were the words of knowledge that Jim had
passed on to me during those tough teen years. I am 35 now and
Jim’s messages are still impacting my life to this very day.
Thank guys for some of the best times of my life.
Sincerely, Bill Kocher ( A Club member from the 1980’s)
